Fall break can translate into a quick break from Ithaca, and the Nestlé Library has some suggestions.
Tucked away in a corner of the library are shelves of travel books that the School of Hotel Administration keeps for convenience and pleasure reading, according to Don Schnedeker, director of the hotel library.
All the familiar names are represented: Fodor’s, Frommer’s, AAA and Let’s Go, as well as bound copies of Travel + Leisure magazine. Book destinations range from Maui to China and Mexico to Holland – or the Catskills and New York City, for travelers who want to stay closer to campus.
